Taylor Hicks LIVE at Lincoln Theatre: Video

Video of the Taylor Hicks Band at Lincoln Theatre provided by Bonnie Cheung

Taylor Hicks and band arrived to a full house and an enthusiastic crowd at the historic Lincoln Theatre in Mount Vernon, WA just in time for their April 27 show.  The band dedicated this performance of “Seven Mile Breakdown” to the people of Alabama and Mississippi.

“Why Can’t We Live Together” features Taylor Hicks both on vocals and the Hammond organ.

He’s still got the moves.  The American Idol winner performed “Living for the City” twice during season 5, and it remains a crowd favorite.

This performance of “I Live on a Battlefield” features an extended instrumental solo from guitarist Sam Gunderson.

The Taylor Hicks band is on tour this spring/summer.  Dates and locations, as well as ticket links, are available via the tour page (accessed from the blog header) or at

Oh my, those videos are unbelievably good. Thank you, Bonnie…you outdid yourself. Every time Taylor does “Why Can’t We Live Together”, the performance gets better and better…loved this one sooooo much. Well, actually, everytime he does ANYTHING it seems to be better than the previous time. Don’t know how he does it, but I ain’t complaining!!!!!

Outstanding, Bonnie! I loved that shirt on Taylor. Although it was a little challenging lightwise, these are spectacularly clear and gorgeous! Thanks!!

  10. Brian’s organ isn’t tied up anymore! That must be a relief.
