The many thousands came for the scenery, the great food but most of all the chance to enjoy the summer weather from morning til night while being serenaded by some of the finest Jazz acts in the country.  And enjoy they did. Record crowds, young and old came to Telluride for the 35th Jazz Celebration.

The shiny, black Taylor guitar was raised as a final emphasis to the end of a song. Later, the black guitar would turn to gold as the sun set on the mountains surrounding Town Park.

Highlights of Day 2 at Telluride included sets by the legendary honored performer Paquito D’Rivera, The Telluride Student All Star Jazz Ensemble, Voodoo Orchestra, March Fourth Marching Band, Walter, Roberts and Deitch, the gorgeous weather and the awesome crowds.
