The Appel Farm Music Festival: A Photo Gallery
Photos and recap by Holley Dey, Louise Uznanski and Richard Uznanski for OnTapBlog
On the grounds of the green and well-manicured lawns of Appel Farm Arts Center in Elmer, New Jersey, the Appel Farm Arts and Music Festival took place to the wonderment of a large, enthusiastic audience on a bright and sunny June 2nd. Performances on The Meadow and The Grove stages kept the multitudes moving from stage to stage, enjoying a 10 hour festival of roots, folk and country rock music. Interspersed amongst the Children’s Village and the Grove Stage was a crafter’s village comprised of hand crafts made by local artisans that are included in every Appel Farm Arts and Music Festival.
Groups that impressed the most: Quincy Mumford and The Reason Why, Dawes, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Jukebox the Ghost, Brother Josephus and the Love Revival Revolustion Orchestra and the unbelievably wonderful Tedeschi Trucks Band who headlined the show and played the last set. The following is a picture show of the bands, sights and sounds of that glorious day in the June sun.
The best compliment we can pay the festival is that it is a family fun day loaded with great music, art, food and congenial coexistence in the green, lush fields of the Appel Farm Arts and Music Festival. We will definitely be back!

Fresh squeezed lemonade on a warm, sunny day with friends and good music – could not have been better! The Tedeschi Trucks Band played a great set, returning to the stage for an encore at the insistence of the crowd, most of whom had been on site throughout the day.
I had a great time. Thanks, Louise and Rich, for sharing the day, for your always awesome company and the crispy gallery of photographs/blog!

You’re welcome. Who would have known that such a great festival was right in our backyard? It was an awesome day all around. The lemonade was delicious, too!
